We know that kick-starting your metabolism helps many of your body's functions work quicker and better. So we know eating some good food that helps this along is beneficial to start your day. 

Smoothie bowls are a great way to get all the nutrients you need, considering they’re full of delicious and wholesome ingredients. 
And because you're doubling up on the fruit and minimising the liquid to make it thicker,  you’re getting even more nutrients. Plus, they’re pretty. So it’s a win-win. 

What you’ll need:

1 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana 
2 cups frozen blueberries 
2 tablespoons chia seeds
(all rich in fibre and metabolism boosting goodness!) 

How to make it:

Step 1:
We like to add all of our “dry” ingredients first so we can avoid accidentally making it too thin.
Blend the banana, berries and chia seeds with just a dash of milk to make it easier to blend.  

The frozen banana is what makes the thicker consistency!

Step 2:
Add the rest of the milk little by little and blend until happy with the consistency. Then scoop into a bowl (or half an emptied coconut shell for Insta………) 

Step 3:
Add some more berries, chia seeds and greek yoghurt on top to make it extra chunky and delicious.

Step 4:
